How we work
Bamboo does not sell a fixed team or a fixed methodology. We work out what the programme needs, assemble it, deliver it, and stand down when it is finished.
Some engagements are a single experienced programme manager for six months. Others are a programme manager, two or three project managers, a group of business analysts and a PMO function, running for a year.
We scope the shape against the work in front of us rather than against whoever happens to be available.
We work with an established network of senior delivery professionals on a contract basis. They have run this kind of change inside large organisations and choose to work this way.
That gives you two things. The right specialist on the programme rather than the nearest available one. And no bench to pay for between programmes.
How engagements usually start
We spend a week understanding what the programme involves and come back with a costed view of what delivering it requires.
You already know the shape of the work and need to know whether we can resource it.
Something has gone wrong and the first priority is an honest picture of where it stands.
Every engagement has an agreed reporting line into your business before it starts.
You get regular and accurate reporting on progress, risk, spend and change, in a form the board can act on.
The team stands down.
Where it helps, we document and hand over so your own people can run what has been delivered without depending on us to do it.
Tell us what you are dealing with and we will come back to you with a view on what resourcing it would take.
